House to house distribution as the day comes to an end: We came across a little house made out of bamboo or “bahay kubo.”There was this little girl with a worn and torn out tank top…playing. As we approached her house, her mom was tending to a newborn in a swing crib made out of woven wooden material, or a “duyan.”There they were, no electricity and seem to have no food.As we told them that we have a bag of groceries for them, the little girl reached out her little hands with a smile.
Ahhhhhh! (sigh) what a blessing it was for the whole family (it all starts within the family) to be in the midst of something great. At the end of the day, we saw smiles on the faces of families, children, the cripple, the blind, the sick, and many more. All in all, it was great to share our blessings to our brothers and sisters
